BCP Media Group & Dorset Chamber join forces for YMCA Bournemouth

BCP Media Group employees, friends, and family contributed donations for the YMCA Bournemouth Big Sleep Event, an annual charity fundraising focused on raising awareness about homelessness in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole, as well as providing funds to help those who are homeless in the community. BCP Media Group and Dorset Chamber collaborated, which resulted in the team building a larger shelter and raising a total of £1071. 25 for YMCA Bournemouth.

The YMCA Bournemouth Big Sleep Event, which took place on 14th October 2023, saw a remarkable turnout of individuals and businesses willing to experience a night of sleeping rough, aiming to gain a small glimpse into the hardships faced by many homeless individuals every day. Participants showed incredible solidarity, braving the cold to support this important cause.

The funds raised from the YMCA Bournemouth Big Sleep Event will go towards supporting the invaluable programs and services provided by the YMCA. These programs aim to provide essential support, shelter, and assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness in the BCP area.
