BCP Media Group Supports Churchill Foundation Golf Day
BCP Media Group was proud to support the recent Churchill Foundation Golf Day at Remedy Oak Golf Club, which raised an impressive £57,700 for charitable causes.
The annual event brought together businesses, partners and supporters from across the region for a day of fundraising, networking and golf, with all proceeds supporting the valuable work of the Churchill Foundation. The impressive fundraising total highlights the generosity of those involved and the event’s continued success in bringing the local business community together.
As a long-standing supplier to Churchill Living, BCP Media Group was delighted to contribute a prize to the event’s silent auction. The auction proved a huge success, raising £15,710 towards the overall fundraising total and making a meaningful contribution to the Foundation’s charitable activities.
Representing BCP Media Group on the day was Operations Director Sam Thomas, who assembled a team comprising her husband, Clive Thomas, family friend Ian Tudor, and BCP Media Group Project Director Dave Shannessy. Despite the challenging conditions, the team went on to secure victory in the golf competition.

Reflecting on the event, Sam said:
“Despite a few intermittent thunderstorms, everyone had a fantastic day. The course was in fabulous condition and very challenging, having not played for some years I picked up a few blisters along the way so only played 9 holes but my team dove-tailed brilliantly and we came out triumphant. It was great to be part of such a successful event and see so many businesses coming together for a worthwhile cause.”
The Churchill Foundation has established a strong reputation for supporting charities and community projects, with fundraising events such as the annual golf day helping to provide practical support to individuals and organisations that need it most. The £57,700 raised during this year’s event will help the Foundation continue making a positive difference through its ongoing charitable work.
For BCP Media Group, the day was an opportunity not only to support a valued client but also to contribute to an event that delivers genuine benefits to local communities. As a business with strong roots in Dorset, we recognise the importance of supporting initiatives that bring people together and create lasting positive impact.
We would like to congratulate Churchill Living, the Churchill Foundation, the event organisers, sponsors, players and everyone who contributed to making the day such a success. Raising more than £57,000 is a fantastic achievement and reflects the generosity, commitment and community spirit shown by all involved.
We are proud to have played a small part in supporting the event and look forward to continuing our long-standing relationship with Churchill in the years ahead.
