Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Signage Installer/Fabricator at BCP Media Group. This is a broad role which involves working on a wide range of signage installations. Work will be varied and could include concreting in sign-posts, installing signs at height and applying floating vinyl onto glass. The company has over 25 years experience in the industry and is now seeing significant growth in the signage and large format area, hence the need for a new Signage Installer to join the team. A minimum of 3-5 years experience within the Large Format and Signage sector is required

This role would suit someone with previous experience of both vinyl and wall graphics application as well as general handyman skills/electrical skills. Due to the wide range of projects and varied client base, we are seeking individuals who are highly motivated and can work as part of a team or own their own initiative.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Working on site fitting and installing signs and graphics to the highest standards.
• Ensuring the quality of installation and graphic applications are to the highest standard.
• Communicating with site-based clients and the project manager so that each project is installed on time and within budget.
• Complying with health and safety regulations and site-specific requirements.
• Working as part of the team with both office-based and workshop-based staff to ensure a quality product is delivered and installed to a high standard.
• You must be confident, reliable and have good attention to detail.
• Install and maintain fabricated Signage on-site across the UK including LED, Illuminated, 3D Lettering and more

Key Skills and Experience: 

• Sign Making and Graphics/Signage Installation experience - essential
• Large Flatbed Digital experience is beneficial
• Previous work with Vinyl, Dibond, Foamex, Acrylic and other substrates is essential
• Ability to make Dibond Signs with Lamination / Riveted Channel / Fabrication of Pan Trays
• Vehicle / Fleet Graphics installation experience would be beneficial
• Previous experience in the application of vinyl and digitally printed wall graphic
• Good communication skills
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow a given brief
• Self-motivated, organised and confident
• Able to work within a team and on own initiative
• General Handyman skills linked to sign installation – working at height, hand tools, digging/post installation etc.
• Clean driving license
• IPAF would be considered an advantage but full training will be given.
